POSITION SUMMARY:

Octane Learning is seeking an experienced account director to work with external clients to plan, design and develop online courses and live workshops. The qualified candidate must possess proven experience in web-based, multimedia or digital media projects. Candidate will be a team player, able to switch gears easily and juggle multiple projects at once. Our clients are pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and healthcare companies.

REPORTING LOCATION: Princeton, NJ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Client Relationships

  • Builds and manages relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Identifies new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain the client relationship
  • Participates in any client business reviews as required

New Business Opportunities

  • Collaborates with Business Development and other presale resources in developing solutions for specific client opportunities
  • Creation of materials associated with sales opportunities, such as capabilities presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and proposals

Project Services

  • Demonstrates significant understanding of the scope of all assigned projects, proactively and efficiently managing details throughout project
  • Runs concurrent projects effectively
  • Is the Primary point of contact on projects, including leading all internal and external status calls / meetings
  • Leads the planning and implementation of projects, accountable for all project plans, job opening/start up meetings, scheduling resources, tracking and overall quality
  • Facilitates the definition of the scope, goals and deliverables; creates and manages timelines
  • Defines tasks and resource requirements, assembles and coordinates appropriate staff; manages resource workflow
  • Manages budget, schedule, project resource allocation and tracks deliverables
  • Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including fiscal responsibility
  • Provides ongoing updates and recommendations including status updates, changes in scope and project-specific strategy
  • Monitors workflow and manages any issues that prevent the completion of the project
